Mission/Purpose
The mission of the Bachelor of Science in Digital Media is to prepare students with a breadth of general mastery knowledge of the digital media field while providing opportunities to focus in depth on specific areas of interest in graphic and print design, web design, imaging, photography, video production, 3D animation and fabrication, and/or motion graphics.
Program Overview
Whether you are interested in motion graphics, videography or sound design, our Bachelor’s in Science (B.A.S.) in Digital Media degree will give you the tools for digital communication. Students will be required to complete an internship and portfolio.
The program focuses on critical job functions, roles and responsibilities of employment in the digital media industry. Critical thinking, problem solving and advanced digital media production skills are emphasized while the curriculum includes applied hands-on instruction in state-of-the-art computer labs working on individual and team-based projects.
Graduates will gain an understanding of the inner workings of production and its relationship to various industries with a focus on visual storytelling. Upon completion of the degree, students will be prepared for a variety of digital media production jobs in an assortment of industry sectors from corporate production to agency design
A minimum grade of C or higher must be achieved in all lower and upper division courses.

Program Requirements
Applicants interested in the Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Digital Media must satisfy the bachelor’s degree general admission requirements. The Digital Media B.A.S. degree program has rolling admissions throughout the term; a bachelor’s degree admissions application may be submitted at any time throughout the term.
