Mission/Purpose
The mission for the Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) in Supervision and Management is to provide students with the opportunity to attain a degree that will enhance their placement in higher-level management and supervisory positions.
Program Overview
This program, designed to layer on top of any Associate in Science (A.S.) or Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree, will provide students with the skill and knowledge required to become successful managers and leaders within public, private, and non-profit organizations. The curriculum emphasizes a practical hands-on application approach to understanding supervision and management in various settings. The College is dedicated to meaningful learning and excellent teaching to aid and develop the potential of our students in the competitive global environment. The core curriculum requirements build a foundation of business supervision and management knowledge along with coursework in a selected concentration: Engineering Technology Mangement, Organizational Management or Healthcare Administration.
A minimum grade of C or higher must be achieved in all upper division courses.
Math Pathway
The Engineering Technology concentration includes the Algebra Through Calculus math pathway; the Organizational Management concentration and Healthcare Administration concentration include the Mathematical Thinking in Context math pathway. Program Accreditation
The B.A.S. Supervision and Management degree program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
Program Requirements
To meet the minimum requirements for consideration for acceptance to the B.A.S. in Supervision and Management program, applicants must satisfy the bachelor’s degree general admission requirements. The B.A.S. in Supervision and Management degree program has rolling admissions throughout the year; a bachelor’s degree admissions application may be submitted at any time throughout the term.
