Financially oriented technicians are among the most sought-after employees in the finance industry. New technologies used in banking, credit evaluation, payment processing, and regulatory applications are disrupting many financial organizations, creating a demand for skilled technicians that can apply programming, data collection, and data analytics technologies to meet their needs. Florida State College at Jacksonville is the regional resource for many employers in these industries, including CSX, Florida Blue, FIS, Bank of America, VyStar, Black Knight, Crowley Marine, City of Jacksonville, Citi, TEKsystems, and other regional employers including the government and military.

Upon completion of this program, students will be prepared to pursue industry recognized industry certifications including:
