Child Care Center Management Specialization (T.C.) (6001)

The Childcare Center Management Specialization T.C. program is designed to prepare students for leadership roles in early childhood education settings. This specialization focuses on the administrative, legal, and financial aspects of managing childcare centers, ensuring that students are equipped to create and maintain high-quality educational environments.

This program is crafted to empower students with the skills and knowledge required for leadership roles within early childhood education settings. The curriculum emphasizes the critical areas of administration, legal compliance, and financial management, ensuring students are well-prepared to oversee childcare centers effectively. Florida State College at Jacksonville is a Florida Department of Children and Families, Florida Childcare Professional Credential (FCCPC), and Director Credential-approved provider.

A minimum grade of C or higher must be achieved in all professional coursework.

Students in this program are not required to complete math courses unless they are listed as part of the certificate program.
