Mission/Purpose

The mission of the Facials Specialty program is to provide excellent and meaningful education to all facial specialty students. A theoretical and practical hands-on approach is given to all aspects of facials specialty including but not limited to: facial treatments, sanitation/safety methods, and procedures, facial makeup/application, hair removal and operation of skin care machines. Upon successful completion of the program and registration with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, the students will be prepared for entry into the workforce.

The Program

This program is for those students seeking certification in esthetics. A certificate of completion enables students to qualify for state licensure in this specialty area. This specialty program includes classroom theory, laboratory practice, and requires daily attendance. Classes are offered once per term. Students may choose from a day or night program, the class hours are scheduled: Monday through Thursday, 9a.m.-2p.m or 5p.m.-10 p.m. at North Campus.

Application Procedure

Students must complete the Facials Specialty program application in order to be considered for acceptance into the program.
