The Career

Given the increasing emphasis on environment protection, safety and health, the environmental field is growing rapidly. Graduates may secure entry-level positions with environmental companies; federal, state, and local governments; utilities; the military; industry or nonprofit organizations locally; as well as on state, national, and international level.

Certification/Licensing

Students who graduate from the program can take the national exam to earn the 40HR HAZWOPER Certification. Additionally, students who take BCN 2732 may take the exam for the 30HR Occupational Safety and Health Administration General Industry certification.
