PHT 2820L - Physical Therapy Clinical Practice III (Credit Hours: 3)

Description

During this terminal, 240 clock hours clinical experience, students will apply knowledge and skills under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist assistant and/or licensed physical therapist. Students will implement selected components of the physical therapists plan of care and perform data collection skills essential for carrying out the plan of care. Students will also participate in education and administration activities in physical therapy.

Conditions

Admission to the PTA program. Students must complete this course with a grade of C or higher. Students in this course participate in a clinical setting for a minimum of 40-hours per week completed over a 6-week period. This course is for students with an effective date of Summer Term 2023 or future. If your effective date is prior to Summer Term 2023, please seek guidance from your advisor regarding course registration.
