Description

The course covers the theory, physiological effects, indications, contraindications and application of physical agents and mechanical and electrotherapeutic modalities commonly used in physical therapy. A laboratory component provides students with an opportunity to apply and practice skills with an emphasis on safety, effectiveness and efficiency.

Conditions

Admission to the PTA program. Students must complete this course with a grade of C or higher.
