Description
This course is designed to further develop the concepts within the three domains of the human being, healthcare, and nursing as a profession. Emphasis is placed on the concepts of metabolism, intracranial regulation, thermoregulation, cellular regulation, perfusion, infection, immunity, mobility, comfort, behaviors, clinical decision-making, caring interventions, collaboration, managing care, and safety. Upon completion, students should be able to provide safe nursing care incorporating the concepts identified in this course. Clinical experiences will be provided with clients across the lifespan in diverse, complex care environments.
