Description

This course is designed specifically to orient individuals to the health care delivery system and medical assisting career. The course provides students with skills in communication, legal and ethical responsibilities, the states of both illness and wellness through an understanding of anatomy and physiology, diagnostic options to identify common disease pathology as well as corresponding basic treatments, and dietary guidelines necessary for common diseases.
