Description

This course covers the nature of social systems perspective for analyzing the impact of family, culture, societal institutions and ethnicity on individual growth and development. This course will also focus on major theories of human growth and development across the life span, interdependence of social functioning, and the impact of such factors as race/ethnicity, minority status, developmental disabilities, sexual orientation, socio-economic status.

Prerequisites

HUS 3105 with a grade of C or higher

Must be admitted to the Human Services (T500) (B.S.) program.
