Description
This course will provide a managerial overview of the major operating functions within the banking industry. The emphasis will be on developing a fundamental knowledge of: the structure of the banking system in the U.S., deposit and loan products, payment delivery systems and internet banking, financial planning and sales, security and risk management and the role of laws and regulation on these operational areas. The overall objective is to equip the student with a practical working knowledge of bank operations.
