EMS 2667 - Paramedic Clinical II (Credit Hours: 3)

Description

This is the second clinical course in the sequence of instruction for Paramedic. Medical facility experience includes: operating room, morgue, critical care units, labor and delivery; field experience with an ALS Provider; and Community Service opportunity. 401.2701(1)(b) 2. F.S.: Paramedic programs must be available only to Florida certified emergency medical technicians or an emergency medical technician applicant who will obtain Florida certification prior to completion of phase one of the paramedic program. Community service (all hours gratis) are a requirement of this course because it helps students engage in the course material in new ways, reinforce skills, and encourages students to become aware of, and responsive to, our community's needs.

EMS 2602 and EMS 2602L

Conditions

A minimum grade of C or higher is required.

Must be admitted to the Emergency Medical Services (E.M.S.) (2251) (A.S.) or Paramedic (6393) (T.C.).

This course emphasizes work based learning.
