Description
This is the first clinical course in the sequence of instruction for Paramedic. Clinical rotations include emergency department (ED) experience and Community Service opportunity. 401.2701(1)(b) 2. F.S.: Paramedic programs must be available only to Florida certified emergency medical technicians or an emergency medical technician applicant who will obtain Florida certification prior to completion of phase one of the paramedic program.Community service (all hours gratis) are a requirement of this course because it helps students engage in the course material in new ways, reinforce skills, and encourages students to become aware of, and responsive to, our community's needs.

Conditions
A minimum grade of C or higher is required in all Professional Core courses.
