Description
This course is the capstone of the Early Childhood Education Field Experience culminating in a full-time internship in grades PreK-3rd. The students will be working in a classroom where they will utilize the skills learned throughout the program to teach in a full-time capacity while being overseen by a directing teacher and a faculty supervisor. The students will be evaluated based on accreditation and state standards while demonstrating his or her ability to apply knowledge, skills and dispositions in authentic situations.

Conditions
Senior-level status. Permission is required prior to enrollment in this course. Students must complete all three Florida Teacher Certification Examinations (FTCE) exams prior to enrollment in this course. Students must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA to enroll in this course. Must be admitted to the Early Childhood Education (T100) (B.S.) program. This course emphasizes work based learning.
