Description

This course is designed to provide the dental hygiene student with the field experiences necessary to implement and evaluate oral health care interventions in the community such as conduction programs, workshops, professional in-services, and screenings designed to meet the oral health needs of identified groups in the community. The frontline role of the dental hygienist in the primary and secondary prevention of oral diseases within community practice and service will be emphasized.
