ATF 1601C - Instrument Pilot Simulator (Credit Hours: 1)

Description

This course uses Advanced Aviation Training Devices (AATDs) to introduce students to basic instrument flying, communications, navigation, holding patterns, and instrument approaches. Students will 'fly' approximately 8 hours and observe approximately 8 hours on the AATDs.

Prerequisites

ATT 1120; student must hold a Private Pilot, Airplane Single-Engine Land certificate

Conditions

This course is Selective Access. Students must be a U.S. citizen or have TSA authorization for flight training.
