Career Certificate Programs
Florida State College at Jacksonville provides a number of career certificate (C.C.) programs of less than two years duration for which a career certificate is awarded upon satisfactory program completion. These programs prepare students for entry‐level jobs in the field of their choice through theoretical and practical application. A practicum or clinical experience is often included to prepare students to perform program-related procedures and techniques in a real work setting. Graduates are prepared for entry-level positions in their chosen career.
Each career certificate program has a specified number of contact hours that must be completed on campus. Students should understand and accept the attendance requirements before enrolling in a career certificate program.
Proof of course attendance, course completion or specific documentation required to fulfill certification or licensure requirements will be provided upon program completion. Programs that require 600 or more clock/contact hours may be eligible for financial aid.
