Advanced Technical Certificate
This is a Selective Access program.
The mission of the Financial Technology (FinTech) program is to educate, train, and develop students for careers in the financial industry. The curriculum focuses on the study of current technologies as their application in the financial industry. The program emphasizes regulatory and ethical considerations and the technology used in the preparation and analysis of financial data as well as the development of critical thinking skills so that students enter the industry well prepared.
The Advanced Technical Certificate (A.T.C.) is exclusively for the student who has earned an associate’s degree from an accredited institution and is now seeking a career change or certification. The Financial Technology (FinTech) courses identified in this A.T.C. will provide employment opportunities for gradudates that may include banks, credit unions, and other finance-related organizations.
All courses in this technical certificate are also included in the Information Systems Technology (S301) (B.A.S.) degree. Students have the option of applying all of the coursework completed in this program toward a bachelor’s degree.
A minimum grade of C or higher must be achieved in all professional coursework.

- Applicants must have graduated with at least an associate’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Applicants must have a 2.0 overall grade point average.
