CJL 1500 - Introduction to the Courts This course consists of an examination of American Courts. It provides a study of all levels of criminal justice system beginning with a historical review of the courts systems and the purpose of federal, state, and local courts. It includes a review of the criminal court structure and its processes as well as the court room personnel who function within its framework.
