PHT 2810L - Physical Therapy Clinical Practice II This course includes 240 clock hours of clinical practice under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist assistant and/or licensed physical therapist. Students will implement selected components of the physical therapists plan of care and perform data collection skills essential for carrying out the plan of care. Students will also participate in education and administration activities in physical therapy.
Prerequisites: PHT 2228C and PHT 2253C and PHT 2282C and PHT 2801L Corequisites: None Credit Hours: 3 Contact Hours: 16 clinical practicum hours Conditions: Admission to the PTA program. Students must complete this course with a grade of C or higher. Students in this course participate in a clinical setting for a minimum of 40-hours per week completed over a 6-week period. This course is for students with an effective date of Summer Term 2023 or future.
