AMH 2020 - United States History From 1877 to the Present

This course includes the growth of big business, the Agrarian Revolt, Latin American affairs, the progressive movement, the 1920s, World War I, the Great Depression, World War II, the Cold War, minority rights, and civil liberties.

Successful completion of this course satisfies the following Civic Literacy Competency Requirement: Prior to the award of an associate in arts or baccalaureate degree, first-time-in-college students entering a Florida College System institution in the 2018-2019 school year, and thereafter, must demonstrate competency in civic literacy (Florida Statute 1007.25, Section 4; State Board of Education Rule 6A-10.02413).
