NUR 2243C - Nursing Concepts: Families in Crisis-Complex Health Problems I

This course is designed to further develop the concepts within the three domains of the human being, healthcare, and nursing as a profession. Emphasis is placed on the concepts of fluid/electrolytes, metabolism, perfusion, mobility, professional behaviors, quality improvement, and complex communication concepts. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide quality, individualized, entry-level nursing care.

Prerequisites: NUR 1008C and NUR 1411C and NUR 1460C and NUR 1212C or NUR 1020C and NUR 1023C and NUR 1460C and NUR 1212C and NUR 1025C and NUR 2214C
Corequisites: NUR 2960
Credit Hours: 5
