LIT 2100 - Great Ideas in World Literature

This course surveys universal themes and ideas in representative masterpieces of the world’s literary traditions from ancient times into the twentieth century. The selections in translation reflect the social, political, and cultural context of their creation as well as man’s perennial search for meaning in attempting to define relationships to self, society, and the universe.

This course fulfills the “Gordon Rule” writing requirement and must be completed with a grade of C or higher pursuant to State Board of Education Rule 6A-10.030.
