EMS 2666 - Paramedic Clinical I

This is the first clinical course in the sequence of instruction for the Paramedic program. Clinical rotations include emergency department (ED) experience and field experience with an ALS provider.

Prerequisites: BSC 2085C
Corequisites: EMS 2611, EMS 2611L and EMS 2612L
Credit Hours: 2
Contact Hours: 36 clinical hours
Conditions: A minimum grade of C or better is required in all Professional Core courses.

401.2701(1)(b) 2. F.S.: Paramedic programs must be available only to Florida certified emergency medical technicians or an emergency medical technician applicant who will obtain Florida certification prior to completion of phase one of the paramedic program.
