EVR 1030 - Environmental Compliance

This course will focus on how environmental compliance is achieved in Northeast Florida via federal, state, and local programs. Topics will include environmental regulations, policies, procedures, and enforcement with emphasis placed on developing a holistic approach to the environment through field, office, lab, and legal procedures. In addition, students will learn to develop and implement a hazard communication program for employees; to identify, label, and placard hazards; to complete material safety data sheets; and to develop, implement, and evaluate an effective hazard communication training program.
