AER 2896 - Engine Performance I

This course is designed to teach entry-level skills in automotive engine performance and includes instruction in intake and exhaust systems, fuel delivery systems, fuel injection systems, and emission control systems. On-Board Diagnostics Generation II will be covered. Both classroom and laboratory will be provided. This course is a web-facilitated class: up to 30% of instruction will be online. Successful completion of this course requires a grade of “C” or better.

Prerequisites: AER 1198 and AER 1694C (each with a grade of “C” or better).
Corequisites: None.
Credit Hours: 4
Contact Hours: 4 lecture hours; 2 laboratory hours
Conditions: None.
