Description

This course surveys the evolution of world civilizations from pre-history to the modern era (1500). This course examines the development of political, intellectual, social, cultural, and economic developments across the globe, including Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Time allocation and sequences of topics will be arranged to reflect each professor's particular strategies and method of organization. The course explores how other cultures and their histories have, or continue to, influence the current world.
