Description
In this course, students will explore dramatic structure, techniques, and various organizational elements. The course provides an introduction to theatre as a collaborative art form through the critical analysis of its historical context, production, theory, and connections to theatrical literature, including the Western cannon. As a humanities course, students will study societies that create dramatic expressions through analysis and investigation of these expressions to include causal influences and relationships between dramatic works and contexts.

Conditions
This course fulfills the Gordon Rule writing requirement and must be completed with a grade of C or higher pursuant to State Board of Education Rule 6A-10.030.
