Description

This course is designed specifically to orient individuals to pharmacology for the Medical Assistant. The course provides the opportunity to demonstrate an understanding of pharmaceutical principles by preparing and administering parenteral and non-parenteral medications, calculating dosages, correctly identifying anatomical injection sites, identifying the various methods and routes of administration, identifying complications and dangers associated with drug administration, and applying the Seven rights of Drug Administration.
