Description

This course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of descriptive and inferential statistics with a pronounced emphasis on inference. The major topics include methods for analyzing sets of data, probability, probability distributions, estimation, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, simple linear regression, and correlation. This course fulfills the Gordon Rule computation requirement and must be completed with a grade of C or higher (pursuant to State Board of Education Rule 6A-10.030.

MGF 1106 or MGF 1107 or MAC 1105 or MAC 1105C each with a grade of C or higher
